The Sarvajanik Post Graduate Collage was initiated as an instrument for democratizing and augmenting opportunities for higher education in the year 1998 for the students living these remote rural and tribal areas of central India by Pt. Vinod Shing with a great and wide vision and limited resources. During its short existence, the college has made a significant impact in the field of higher education of he area of Uttar Pradesh. The college is affiliated to Veer Bahadur singh Purvanchal University and it is included under section 2(f) and section 12(B) of University Grand Commission and receives development Grants from UGC. The college also receives an annual grant from State Govt. of Uttar Pradesh towards salary of teaching and non-teaching staff.
Highly qualified academic staff members are involved in Teaching theoretical and experimental subjects under the able guidance of capable Administrator and Learned Professor Dr. P.C. Jain, Principal of Graduate students. The teaching staff is also engaged in high quality research activities and in organizing seminars, workshops for the students and teachers.
